Valley of the Shadow of Death

Aargh! I took the time on this day before trip morning to compose a blog--directly in blogspot--and sure enough it disappeared.

Thanks to all of you walk with us through the death's shadow, for taking our hands and leading us when we can't see.

And please pray for us this weekend, as we bury Jolene's cremains and go through our first Mother's Day without Jolene.

Darlene, My heart goes out to you during this terrible time of grief. Hugs to you on this day. When we are weak, HE is strong.

Computers are so frustrating Darlene.
If you can't get to the blog during your trip give yourself a break and skip the days. We'll understand.

Hey Darlene,

"Firsts" are always hard after losing a child. My first Mother's Day without Seth passed in a fog of heartache and grief, but praise God, who made the days bearable and who healed my soul.

Your Redeemer lives, Darlene, and He will bring you through this valley to a land flowing with milk and honey.

Love you, sister.

You're in my prayers, Darlene. I remember the first Mother's Day after my mom passed away. It was tough. I'm so thankful that the Lord understands our grief and holds us up during these difficult times.

I'll say a special prayer for you on Sunday.

Nancy

Darlene, my heart breaks every day at your loss. I haven't been a very good blogger or e-mailer lately due to finally promo-ing my book. I didn't get much done during my husband's illness and now that he's in remission, things are so great. But you, your mom, the kitty, your son and yes Jolene, are in my prayers every day. Take comfort the fact that even though she is away from us and with the Lord, she is still touching lives most positively as we trust in God and hang on to our faith.

love to you, my dear friend,
~Tanya
